Our Community Involvement
Corporate Challenge recognise the importance of being a proactive member of our community. Involvement with community organisations ranging from charities, school groups to aged care facilities will allow us to touch as many members of the community as possible.

As part of our community involvement Corporate Challenge donate our time annually to facilitating a recruitment weekend for the Jamie Oliver 15 Restaurant. Over these three days we work with up to 30 aspiring young chefs from underprivileged backgrounds putting them through many different team challenges testing their abilities to work in a team environment. By the end of the weekend, in conjunction with the team from 15 we have selected the 20 successful candidates for the traineeship. Year after year we are amazed by the growth of all of the kids over the three day camp and it is one of the most rewarding experiences we are involved with.
“The very hardy chaps from Corporate Challenge design and execute the tasks and adventures that make our third interview stage so much fun and so effective for identifying future chefs among all the applicants. Their enthusiasm is endless and their involvement in the process integral. And they even wear shorts in sub-zero temperatures… that’s hardcore!”

Corporate Challenge Victoria has a relationship with Camp Quality whereby all of the bikes from our “Bikes for Tykes” programs are donated to kids from Camp Quality. The looks on the young kids faces when they receive a new bike is rewarding no matter how many times you see it. In 2009 Corporate Challenge donated 148 bikes.
“We would just like to thank you for organising the bike for Maggie. She has only ever had the boys 'hand me downs' so she is very pleased to have a bike of her own. Thanks again, we really appreciate it.”

Corporate Challenge Queensland donates all bikes from our "Bikes for Tykes" to foster kids from The Pyjama Foundation. The Pyjama Foundation recruits, screens, trains and supports community volunteers - Pyjama Angels - to read to children in foster care on a weekly basis. In 2009 we donated over 50 bikes.

Throughout 2009 Corporate Challenge NSW has donated over 100 bikes to a number of charities across NSW and the ACT. Charities include Ronald MacDonald House, Red Kite, Sydney Children's Hospital, Variety and Barnardos.
Our relationship with these Charities continues to strengthen entering 2010. We are currently in the process of developing tailored programs for Variety and Barnardos, which they can offer their Corporate Partners as part of their sponsorship program and ongoing support.
We look forward to delivering our Bikes for Tykes program throughout 2010 and increasing our involvement and support of these fantastic Charities and Organizations.
"Thank you so much for your support of Variety and for providing so many opportunities throughout 2009, it is greatly appreciated. To give special kids such a wonderful gift, especially near Christmas time, brightens up their lives and I know their parents are truly grateful. It has been a pleasure to work with your team and I look forward to working with Corporate Challenge throughout 2010." Margaret White, Variety - The Children's Charity.
