Schools Competition

The McDonald’s Schools Challenge is open to all primary, secondary, private and public schools throughout Australia.

Teachers, aides, parents and other such “non students” are ineligible to enter the team – it is open to students only.

For a school team to be registered, all team members must state their school name on the online Entry Form. All team members must individually fill out an entry form online and state their school name in the TEAM NAME box provided.

Individuals entering the Schools Challenge can enter one race or all 5 in advance and will receive the same discounts for multi races.

The school who sends the highest number of runners over the 5 race series will be deemed the McDonald’s Schools Challenge Winners. The aggregate number of team members over the 5 races will be tallied for every school entered.

The same team member may race in all five races for their school. This team member would therefore register five times for the overall tally.

A runner registered on the Schools Challenge Entry form must finish the race on race day in order to be registered as a team member. They cannot simply enter and then not race.

The Prize

The school that records the most number of finishing competitors in the McDonald’s Schools Challenge will win a 3 day school camp at the Sports Super Centre.

The school that records the 2nd most number of finishing competitors in The McDonald’s Schools Challenge will receive $1,000.00 to spend on sporting equipment within the school – thanks to McDonald’s.

* The winnner has the right to choose the 2nd place prize if they wish.....the first prize will then become the prize for 2nd place.
