Coaching for High Performance
Coaching unlocks potential and transforms people into who they would like to beWhat Is Coaching?
It develops leadership skills and accelerates a change in behaviour faster, more effectively and with more depth of understanding than if people are left to move forward on their own.
Our coaching is focused on 1-on-1 or small group (2-3 people) training of senior managers and executives who seek a positive change in behaviour for themselves, their people and their teams.
It is suitable for any current or future leaders to enhance their leadership qualities, leadership capabilities and undergo behavioural change.
Our coaching is also ideal for managers to support their implementation of changes following our FISH! and Belbin training programs, or for managers to learn the coaching approach.
Our coaching process
We will work with both the ‘coachee’ and their manager/s to determine the key results sought from the coaching and identify the key people that the ‘coachee’ has a relationship with in their workplace.
Our coaching process involves a number of people to ensure maximum results are gained for the ‘coachee’.
Research on behavioural change supports this. If people attain feedback, follow-up and involve their co-workers in the change process, improvement is greater.
We pride our coaching conversations on three key elements for high performance results:
1. Coach
- Killer questions
- Empower others
- Challenge & trust
- Agreed and accountable
2. Stretch
- Goals that stretch current thinking
- Meaningful feedback
- Accountability for performance
- Agree on improvements
3. Review
- Recognise achievements
- Coaching linked to strategy
- Specific & measurable
- Improvement & development
Our coaches serve as facilitators, motivators, consultants and sounding boards. They will deal with operational to strategic vision, daily and organisational goals, communication and self-management. This enables and empowers the ‘coachees’ to improve their interpersonal relationships, people management and understanding of organisational culture.
Format
The coaching sessions are flexible and adaptable to your needs, location and timeframe.
We suggest the sessions are split between being held in-house at your workplace and externally in a neutral environment.
For the initial benchmarking and interviews as well as the final evaluation and reporting, we recommend these are held at your workplace for ease of accessibility to other staff.
Our evaluation and reporting of the coaching will apply the Kirkpatrick approach which provides measures across four levels – satisfaction with the coaching; application of knowledge; measured behavioural change; and, measured team feedback.
Next Steps
Following a ‘no obligation’ consultation, we will present a coaching outline tailored specifically for you or your small group (2-3 people).
Then upon acceptance, we are underway starting with the surveys, reviews and interviews to set a benchmark and desired outcomes for the coaching.
